We can consider sole customers with a residing partner.
We will require the mortgage and deeds to show only the sole customer.
Other parties, such as spouses, civil partners, or other strong relationships should be financially independent and not contribute towards the mortgage or deposit.
Individuals aged 17 or over that are not party to the mortgage will need to complete a Deed of Occupiers Consent.
We’ll require the customer to declare if any non-child dependents are financially dependent or independent.
For non-child dependents that are financially dependent, we’ll consider their expenditure as part of our affordability assessment.
