Lodger / Boarder

Customers are allowed to have a lodger / boarder, providing this is an informal arrangement, does not breach terms and conditions of the mortgage or their buildings insurance, and the lodger/boarder is not associated with the customer (relative, close friend, or financial associate)

We do not consider renting a room to a lodger/boarder an acceptable source of income for Affordability Assessment.
