# Will a new affordability check be required for an existing customer remortgaging?

## We don't do another affordability check if the mortgage terms are unchanged

We won't carry out a new affordability check if the mortgage terms remains unchanged and the remortgage application is for a product transfer. If changes are made to the original terms we will carry out a new affordability check.
